You might think it's premature to be planning for jobs a year away, but many employers prefer to do things that way. Our Summer Recruitment program will give you a crack at those opportunities. For rising 2Ls, these will be jobs the summer after your second year. For rising 3Ls, these will be jobs after you take the bar exam.
Participating employers include law firms, government agencies, and public interest organizations. While this is by no means the only way to line up meaningful experience next year, it may well be your only opportunity with these particular employers. So make sure to participate. The application window opens on July 18 at noon and closes on August 1 at noon. Details can be found on the LCSonline home page.
To help you put your best foot forward, LCS will be hosting a number of drop-in hours between now and August 1. You're also welcome to make an appointment if you'd like.
