Trello
Trello is a visual bulletin board for organizing and collaborating on projects. For every task, you create a board. For instance, I created a board for emails I needed to send. Each board is divided into three lists: To Do, Doing, and Done. Lists can be added as necessary. You can add cards to each board, and move the cards from one board to another. The beauty of the app is the customization of the cards. Cards can contain checklists, attachments, labels, and due dates. Another fantastic feature is the ability to share boards and cards with contacts.
The Good - Easy to use. Clean interface without clutter. Syncs across multiple devices (iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and PC).
The Bad - No voice feature. No access to calendars or maps.
Google Now
Google offers many free apps that make life seamless so it was no surprise to find that Google Now was equally as useful. Information is automatically organized on cards that display your appointments, track shipped packages, update the weather, and help you avoid traffic. If you need an app to organize everything for you, Google Now is the app for you.
The Good - Easily customizable to allow sorting of cards based on prioritization. Syncs well with calendars, Gmail, and Google Maps. Voice recognition.
The Bad - More of a general overview of your calendar, email, and reminders. Not as helpful for creating to-do list.
24me
If you find yourself struggling to remember things, 24me is the app for you. 24me auto-creates reminders for meetings, events, bills, etc. The reminders are created based on your accounts synced with the app: social networking, financial, and email. One very helpful feature is the synchronization with Facebook. Once the Facebook sync is set up, 24me will automatically send birthday messages to friends.
The Good - Daily calendar view is easy to navigate. Easy to add tasks and events. One of the best apps I have used for viewing all my calenders, tasks, and reminders.
The Bad - No way to view all of the task for a month as a list.
Wunderlist
Wunderlist is an organized to-do list. Create lists of things you need to do, movies you want to watch, or groceries you need to buy. The app allows you to share lists with others, and provide feedback. It is a very useful app for collaborating on a list, assigning tasks, checking progress, and getting things checked off your list.
The Good - Easy to navigate. Allows prioritization of lists. Helpful reminders.
The Bad - Limited synchronization.
