It is very important to make yourself memorable at networking events. Attorneys shake hands with a great deal of law students and graduates at these events, so how do you make yourself stand out? Check out this article from the American Bar Association for Students Facebook page describing The 3 Simple Ways to Make a Great First Impression. Making a lasting first impression is a key element for networking with dozens of attorneys to ensure that they remember you.

The best way to cultivate new skills is to practice them! Several holiday networking opportunities are happening in the next few weeks. This is a great time for you to connect with attorneys and expand your network. Click here for a list of holiday events that you want to be sure to take advantage of.

Also, BASF and GGU are collaborating to provide recent graduates with an opportunity to practice networking skills! On Monday, December 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, join recent graduates from other Bay Area schools for a fun and interactive networking workshop featuring expert Jill Wesley, and then practice your new skills in a networking mixer with BASF officers, committee chairs, and members. The event will take place at the Bar Association of San Francisco, 301 Battery Street, Third floor.

Just relax and remember the 3 simple steps that can be applied to anyone you want to make a lasting impression on!
